Pupates in leaf litter.

Overwinters as a pupa.
Both sexes come to light.
Often disturbed during day

Forewing length: 13-17mm.
Foodplant(s): willowherbs (Epilobium spp.), Enchanter's-nightshade (Circaea lutetiana)
Flying: Two generations, late April-June and late July-August
UK Presence: Resident
National status: Not endangered

Woodland and open habitats.
