It was beginning to look like we wouldn't have any diary entries for this month, but luckily we had a rare visit from a yellowhammer today. He stayed around a good few hours helping himself to sunflowers and peanuts. Presumably it's quite difficult to find food at the moment as there's still a thick layer of snow.
